Welcome to everything you've ever imagined
This is Portalis, the culmination of many years work. This is, as you guessed, an RP. However, it's probably not as you may have imagined. This universe, if you will, is a number of different worlds rolled up into one- rather, a number of different stories seperated by boundaries that may be explained later.
However, don't be frightened by the prospect of simply not knowing- there's no need for it. I will explain it as it needs explaining, little more than that. If you have read The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman, then you will understand quite a bit of what I'm going to try to state here.
This world is overlayed by many others, just barley out of reach. However, the barriers that seperate these worlds can be breached, with the right tools. No, not a dagger, not this time.
Current plot: Your character currently a student at Nortra Triversity, the biggest school in the world, and quite possibly the oldest. However, the school has suddenly stopped all classes, only recently restarting a few of them. They have told the students nothing behind the reasons for the sudden cancellations of the classes.
-Note: This is technologically similar to our universe currently. Nortra represents something of a university, with dorms on the grounds, set on the Eastern Coast. The world represents Pangea in this universe. I'll have a map up soon.
I'm currently getting rid of the registration requirements. You may openly post in either the Grounds or the Docks. However, as soon as this privilege is abused, it's back to normal registration
-To register: It's quite simple- all you need to do is contact me at [email protected] with your character description, grade (anything between first grade and senior in college) and all the neccesary information that you'd like to put in a short character bio. Personality and history are to be included. Additional information about the person behind the character is appreciated.
In addition, I will soon have a site up listing not only a daily newspaper from this other world, but I will also have an ongoing subplot written in there. I will have the site up soon, for the people who believed they were interested in this
